Chana Recipe | Chickpea Curry | An easy and simple flavoured gravy-based curry recipe prepared with chickpeas and assorted dry spices. It is one of the popular north Indian curry recipes shared with a wide range of Indian flatbreads and particularly shared with poori OR bhatura.

Ingredients

Chickpea/ kabuli chana 200 gms (soaked)
Bayleaf 1 pcs
Black cardamom 1 pc
Cinnamon ½ inch pc
Cloves 5-5 pcs
Green cardamom 2 pcs
Black pepper 7-8 pcs
Salt 1 tsp
Water as required

Oil 2 tbsp
Bayleaf 2 pcs
Black cardamom 1 pc
Green cardamom 2 pcs
Cloves 5-6 pcs
Black pepper 9-10 pcs
Jeera 1 tsp
Onion 3 medium sized pcs (in paste form)
Ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Green chilli chopped ½ tbsp
Tomatoes 3 medium sized pcs (in paste form)
Chana masala 2 tbsp
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Boiled chana with stock
Salt ½ tbsp

Takdka:
Ghee 2 tsp
Jeera ½ tsp
Hing ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
