Make this High Protein Moong Dal Chilla for a healthy and wholesome start to your day and enjoy it with some kadak chai 🫖
Ingredients for Batter:
☀️ 1.5 Cups Yellow Moong Dal
☀️ 1-inch Ginger
☀️ 3-4 Green Chillies
Method:
☀️ Soak Moong Dal for 4-5 hours or Overnight
☀️ Drain all the water and grind it with Ginger and Chilli to make the batter
Ingredients for Chilla:
☀️ 1 Cup Spinach (Finely Chopped)
☀️ 1 Small Onion (Finely Chopped)
☀️ 1 Capsicum (Finely Chopped)
☀️ 1 Carrot (Grated)
☀️ 100g Paneer (Grated)
☀️ Salt
☀️ 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
☀️ 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
☀️ 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
☀️ 3-4 Green Chillies (Finely Chopped)
☀️ 4-5 Cloves of Garlic (Crushed)
☀️ 1 tsp Chaat Masala
☀️ 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
☀️ 1.5 tsp Flax Seeds Powder
☀️ 1/2 Cup Coriander (Finely Chopped)
Method:
☀️ Once the batter is prepared, mix all the ingredients mentioned above.
☀️ Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
Heat a pan and make your Chillas.
Serve with Green Chutney & Curd!
Note: You can add more toppings of your choice while making chillas (I have used grated beetroot as well).
NOTE: 8-9 Chillas can easily be made!
